We were delighted when Sihteeriyhdistys approached us and asked if Mekiwi could design a whole new visual identity for them with multiple deliverables. Our goal was to make a total face lift and bring the brand to new era, without forgetting the great heritage of this old association. We started the work by redesigning the Sihteeriyhdistys logo. Key words for the design process were elegance, freshness and functionality. Those three words guided the entire design process. Sihteeriyhdistys website also underwent a total renovation both visually and technically. We chose WordPress publishing system as a platform because it offers full customization options. Content of the website was redesigned to ensure that visitors could find all the information easily. We also arranged a photoshoot session to get fresh imagery that supports the new look and feel. New visual identity has been a great success, and the simplicity of the user interface has received praise from members and stakeholders. In addition we redesigned the look and feel of the Secretarius magazine and updated several marketing materials according to the new visual identity.
